Bio.
Mingyue "Emily" Li is a Los Angeles based Production Designer and Producer. She graduated from American Film Institue with a MFA in Production Design. She has worked as a Production Designer and Producer for films, TV pilots, commercials and theater plays. Her work, CHARLIEBIRD, has been selected and will have its world premiere in Tribeca2025 U.S. Narrative Competition. Her work, Feng Zheng (The Silent Whistle) has been selected for and had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes film festival La cinefondation edition. Her work “Bliss and Sad” won the Sliver Award for Best Production Design in the Independent Shorts Awards. She is currently participant in the ADG Production Design Initiative program and she is a member of Production Designers Collective.
